LAHORE: Govt is planning to establish Kalash Valleys Development Authority which will assist to preserve the Kalash culture and increase tourism in the valleys.
As per the Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Minorities’ Affairs Wazirzada, the establishment of the Kalash Valleys Development Authority (KVDA), will assist to preserve the indigenous Kalash culture and increase tourism in the aesthetic and scenic valleys.
According to the news sources during the meeting, he stated that “The Kalash Valleys Development Authority has been established, and now is the time to work diligently to achieve the desired goals,”
According to the details, the meeting was attended by Director General Muhammad Abid Khan Wazir of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), Director Archaeology Dr. Abdul Samad, Lower Chitral Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq, National Tourism Coordination Board Member Shahzada Maqsoodul Mulk.

وزیر اعلیٰ کے معاون خصوصی برائے اقلیتی امور وزیر زادہ کے مطابق کالاش ویلیز ڈیولپمنٹ اتھارٹی (کے وی ڈی اے) کا قیام مقامی کالاش ثقافت کو محفوظ رکھنے اور خوبصورت اور قدرتی وادیوں میں سیاحت کو بڑھانے میں معاون ثابت ہوگا۔
خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق ملاقات کے دوران انہوں نے کہا کہ کالاش ویلیز ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کا قیام عمل میں لایا گیا ہے اور اب مطلوبہ اہداف کے حصول کے لیے تندہی سے کام کرنے کا وقت آگیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اجلاس میں خیبرپختونخوا کلچر اینڈ ٹورازم اتھارٹی (کے پی سی ٹی اے) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل محمد عابد خان وزیر، ڈائریکٹر آرکیالوجی ڈاکٹر عبدالصمد، لوئر چترال کے ڈپٹی کمشنر انوار الحق، نیشنل ٹورازم کوآرڈینیشن بورڈ کے رکن شہزادہ مقصود الملک نے شرکت کی۔
