On 24th March 2019, at DHA Karachi, Pakistan Day was celebrated with the traditional fervor and zeal.
All the offices and the buildings of the DHA were illuminated including DA Clubs, DHA Head Office, Defence Central Library, DHACSS Institutions etc. in commemorating the 79th anniversary of All India Muslim League resolution that was adopted on 23rd March 1940. Every building was floodlight with emanated colorful lights embodying the devoted love and passion towards the nation.
Several functions were held in the various DHA schools and colleges as well as clubs where the celebrations were made with enthusiasm and patriotism. Singing national songs, national anthem and milli naghma spirited the essence of nationalism in the hearts of the spectators. Many speeches and debate competitions were held where the debaters gave powerful and motivational speeches, enlightening the true spirit and love for their beloved homeland.
Students of DHACSS Phase-IV Campus in the DA Sunset Club celebrated the day in a unique and colorful manner. All the songs were presented by school band and choir in an exceptional exhilarating manner. Usted Ishtiaq Ahmed Bashir spread melodies of happiness and peace with his euphonious voice and sang songs that created a scene of solitude and love. The students of DHACSS Seaview also displayed their love and devotion to the country in a colorful program in Defence Authority Club. DHA Creek Club was also not behind and had an exciting festive elevating the celebrations to the next level.
Administrator of DHA, Brig Ibrar Hussain Bhatti gave a speech where he said that 23rd March actually signifies the inception of a vivacious journey that paved the way for a separate homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent. He further added that everyone must join their hands and collaborate together to revive the true spirit of the day displaying the message of a strong, prosperous and progressive image of Pakistan to the world.
