Online registration system for tenants inaugurated

Under the initiative, the landlords could submit their tenant details on the department’s website without visiting a police station.

A ceremony in this regard was held at the Central Police Office which was attended by DIG Headquarter Kamran Adil, director of IT department Saleem Raza Sheikh, and other officials of the capital police.

Speaking at the occasion, IGP Islamabad appreciated the IT department of Police for in-time completing the task.

The system would not only help the force to identify criminal elements but secure the properties of landlords, he said.

Islamabad Police had taken multiple initiatives during the last four months, using modern technology for the convenience of the citizens.

The department had introduced an online traffic appointment, FIR, SMS alert, traffic update alert, and e-police desk which were getting an overwhelming response by the residents, he further said.

It may be mentioned here that the decision to the registration of tenants came during an online open court at the Traffic Police office when a citizen submitted a suggestion to IGP Islamabad for the online registration of tenants.

اس سلسلے میں ایک تقریب سنٹرل پولیس آفس میں منعقد ہوئی جس میں ڈی آئی جی ہیڈ کوارٹر کامران عادل ، ڈائریکٹر آئی ٹی ڈیپارٹمنٹ سلیم رضا شیخ ، اور کیپیٹل پولیس کے دیگر عہدیدار شریک ہوئے۔

اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے ، آئی جی پی اسلام آباد نے پولیس کے محکمہ آئی ٹی کو اس کام کی تکمیل کے لئے تعریف کی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اس نظام سے نہ صرف جرائم پیشہ عناصر کی شناخت کرنے میں مدد ملے گی بلکہ جاگیرداروں کی جائیدادیں بھی محفوظ ہوں گی۔

اسلام آباد پولیس نے شہریوں کی سہولت کے لئے جدید ٹکنالوجی کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے گذشتہ چار ماہ کے دوران متعدد اقدامات اٹھائے تھے۔

انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ محکمہ نے آن لائن ٹریفک تقرری ، ایف آئی آر ، ایس ایم ایس الرٹ ، ٹریفک اپ ڈیٹ الرٹ ، اور ای پولیس ڈیسک متعارف کرایا تھا جس پر رہائشیوں کا زبردست ردعمل سامنے آرہا ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ کرایہ داروں کی رجسٹریشن کا فیصلہ ٹریفک پولیس آفس میں آن لائن اوپن کورٹ کے دوران اس وقت سامنے آیا جب ایک شہری نے کرایہ داروں کی آن لائن رجسٹریشن کے لئے آئی جی پی اسلام آباد کو ایک تجویز پیش کی۔
