The CM also asked about the patient's health while touring several hospital departments, such as the CT Department, Operation Theatre, and ICU.
In a press conference, Pervaiz Elahi claimed that the Punjabi government was bringing about revolutionary changes to the health system. He stressed his determination to create Gujranwala the best city in the world in terms of education, health, and cleanliness by referring to Health Card as a historic undertaking.
He added that the construction of this 502-bed teaching hospital, which has 19 operating rooms, 40 ICU beds, and provides more than 16 medical services, cost Rs.7.740 billion.
At the new hospital, multi-story housing structures and dormitories for doctors and other staff members have been constructed, and three buses have been set aside for patients, staff, and students. Additionally, contract healthcare workers would be regulated.

وزیراعلیٰ نے ہسپتال کے کئی شعبوں جیسے سی ٹی ڈیپارٹمنٹ، آپریشن تھیٹر اور آئی سی یو کا دورہ کرتے ہوئے مریض کی صحت کے بارے میں بھی پوچھا۔
پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے پرویز الٰہی نے دعویٰ کیا کہ پنجابی حکومت صحت کے نظام میں انقلابی تبدیلیاں لا رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے ہیلتھ کارڈ کو ایک تاریخی اقدام قرار دیتے ہوئے گوجرانوالہ کو تعلیم، صحت اور صفائی کے حوالے سے دنیا کا بہترین شہر بنانے کے عزم پر زور دیا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ 502 بستروں پر مشتمل اس ٹیچنگ ہسپتال کی تعمیر، جس میں 19 آپریٹنگ رومز، 40 آئی سی یو بیڈز ہیں اور 16 سے زائد طبی خدمات فراہم کرتے ہیں، پر 7.740 ارب روپے لاگت آئی ہے۔
نئے ہسپتال میں ڈاکٹروں اور عملے کے دیگر ارکان کے لیے کثیر المنزلہ رہائش کے ڈھانچے اور ہاسٹلیاں تعمیر کی گئی ہیں، اور مریضوں، عملے اور طلبہ کے لیے تین بسیں مختص کی گئی ہیں۔ مزید برآں، کنٹریکٹ ہیلتھ کیئر ورکرز کو ریگولیٹ کیا جائے گا۔
