New border crossing with Iran opened in Chagai

According to the news sources, Deputy Commissioner Mansoor Ahmed Baloch, accompanied by officials of Frontier Corps, the local administration, and tribal elders, inaugurated the new entry point.

While talking to the media, Mr. Baloch said that this new facility would facilitate people from both sides of the border to travel and carry out trade activities. He said that a gate had been recently installed at the border crossing.

The Deputy Commissioner also added that “This is a historic moment for the people living on both sides of the border as this new border crossing will create job opportunities and remove hurdles being faced by the local people,”

He said the development was made possible after Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani’s recent visit to Iran where the opening of new border crossings had been undertaken.

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے مسٹر بلوچ نے کہا کہ اس نئی سہولت سے سرحد کے دونوں طرف کے لوگوں کو سفر کرنے اور تجارتی سرگرمیاں کرنے میں آسانی ہوگی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حال ہی میں بارڈر کراسنگ پر ایک گیٹ نصب کیا گیا ہے۔
ڈپٹی کمشنر نے مزید کہا کہ "یہ سرحد کے دونوں جانب رہنے والے لوگوں کے لیے ایک تاریخی لمحہ ہے کیونکہ اس نئی سرحدی کراسنگ سے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے اور مقامی لوگوں کو درپیش رکاوٹیں دور ہوں گی"۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ پیش رفت سینیٹ کے چیئرمین صادق سنجرانی کے حالیہ دورہ ایران کے بعد ممکن ہوئی ہے جہاں نئی سرحدی گزرگاہیں کھولی گئی تھیں۔
