Islamabad: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat recently approved a bill on Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority. The decision came when a meeting at the Parliament House was underway conducted by the Member National Assembly Syed Amin-ul-Haq.

The Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority will be an establishment placed under the direct control of the Cabinet Division. This authority will also be registered under the law. It is also decided that the corporation would work on housing development and real estate in the public sector and provide affordable housing solutions to low-income people.
