National Highway Authority and Contractor Sign Concession Contract for M6 Construction

According to the P3A Board-approved transaction structure, the Pakistani government will only pay Rs. 9.5 billion during the course of construction, with the private party arranging the rest Rs. 297.5 billion through equity and commercial loans.

At the conclusion of the concession period, the project will also be given free of charge to the NHA.

The road, sometimes referred to as the M6 Motorway, is the largest PPP project ever signed in the history of the nation.

The freeway, which is 306 kilometres long, will include six lanes. The private party will build and manage the project for 25 years, starting from the day the PPP agreement was signed, with the goal of making it climate resilient.

پاکستانی حکومت صرف عمارت کی لاگت کی طرف 9.5 بلین روپے دے گی اور نجی پارٹی باقی P3A بورڈ کے منظور کردہ لین دین کے ڈھانچے کے مطابق، ایکویٹی اور تجارتی قرضوں کے ذریعے 297.5 بلین روپے کا بندوبست کرے گی۔
رعایتی مدت کے اختتام پر یہ منصوبہ NHA کو بھی مفت دیا جائے گا۔ یہ سڑک، جسے کبھی کبھی M6 موٹروے بھی کہا جاتا ہے، قوم کی تاریخ میں اب تک کا سب سے بڑا PPP پراجیکٹ ہے۔
