Multibillion IJP Road Being Completed At a Fast Pace

The details shared revealed that the widening of the road has been underway at a higher pace than before and the placement of pillars of a flyover at Faqir Aipee point has been initiated as well. However, the construction of the flyover would continue for the next year, while the pillars would be placed and completed in a few weeks.

In order to accommodate the heavy traffic from Katarian and Faizabad, two lanes are being constructed for the new road, which would also include a shoulder patch for motorbikes.

The first concept of the Rs4.9bn project revealed that there would be two lanes on each side to accommodate the heavy flow of traffic. An interchange will also be included, on 9^th Avenue and Stadium Road.

A no-objection certificate was recently sought by the RDA for another huge development which would be, connecting Leh expressway with IJP road and 10th avenue. The official further expressed that Leh Expressway is a project of RDA, whereas the CDA is focused on IJP road and 10th avenue.

کٹاریاں اور فیض آباد سے آنے والی بھاری ٹریفک کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کے لیے نئی سڑک کے لیے دو لین بنائے جا رہے ہیں، جس میں موٹر سائیکلوں کے لیے کندھے کا
    پیچ بھی شامل کیا جائے گا۔
حال ہی میں آر ڈی اے کی جانب سے ایک اور بہت بڑی ترقی کے لئے عدم اعتراض سرٹیفکیٹ طلب کیا گیا تھا جو لیہ ایکسپریس وے کو آئی جے پی روڈ اور دسویں
ایونیو سے جوڑدے گا۔ عہدیدار نے مزید اظہار کیا کہ لیہ ایکسپریس وے آر ڈی اے کا پروجیکٹ ہے جبکہ سی ڈی اے کی توجہ آئی جے پی روڈ اور دسویں ایونیو پر مرکوز ہے۔
