ISLAMABAD: National Assembly of Pakistan and Friedrich-Elbert-Stiftung (FES) signed an MoU at the parliament house for cooperation and supporting the parliamentary Committee on CPEC. Sectary National Assembly Tahir Hussain and Country Director FES Dr. Jochen Hippler signed the MoU and represented their parties.
During the MoU signing ceremony, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on CPEC Arbab Shair Ali stated that the CPEC would prove a vital factor for the socio-economic development factor of the country. Chairman said that the CPEC would amplify employment opportunities and would bring regional prosperity.
He also mentioned that this MoU is for the purpose of the inclusion of all stakeholders to expedite the CPEC-related projects in the best interest of the country. He also remarked the parliamentary committee on CPEC would take all stakeholders on board to enhance the effectiveness of CPEC and all its project across Pakistan.
Dr. Jochen Hippler, Country Director FES, appreciated the importance of CPEC. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chairman Parliamentary Committee on CPEC for signing this MoU.
اسلام آباد: پاکستان کی قومی اسمبلی اور فریڈرک البرٹ اسٹیفنگ (ایف ای ایس) نے پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں سی پی ای سی سے متعلق پارلیمانی کمیٹی کے تعاون اور معاونت کے لئے ایک معاہدے پر دستخط کیے۔ سیکریٹری قومی اسمبلی طاہر حسین اور کنٹری ڈائریکٹر ایف ای ایس ڈاکٹر جوچن ہپلر نے ایم او یو پر دستخط کیے اور اپنی جماعتوں کی نمائندگی کی۔
مفاہمت نامہ پر دستخط کرنے کی تقریب کے دوران ، سی پی ای سی سے متعلق چیئرمین پارلیمانی کمیٹی ارباب شیر علی نے بیان کیا کہ سی پی ای سی ملک کی سماجی و معاشی ترقی کے عنصر کے لئے ایک اہم عنصر ثابت کرے گا۔ چیئرمین نے کہا کہ سی پی ای سی روزگار کے مواقع کو بڑھاوا دے گا اور علاقائی خو��حالی لائے گا۔
انہوں نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ یہ مفاہمت نامہ سی پی ای سی سے متعلقہ منصوبوں کو ملک کے بہترین مفاد میں تیز کرنے کے لئے تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز کو شامل کرنے کے مقصد کے لئے ہے۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی ریمارکس دیئے کہ سی پی ای سی پر پارلیمانی کمیٹی پاکستان میں تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز کو سی پی ای سی اور اس کے تمام منصوبے کی تاثیر کو بڑھانے کے لئے بورڈ میں شامل ہوگی۔
کنٹری ڈائریکٹر ایف ای ایس ، ڈاکٹر جوچن ہپلر نے سی پی ای سی کی اہمیت کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے اس مفاہمت نامے پر دستخط کرنے پر سی پی ای سی سے متعلق چیئرمین پارلیمانی کمیٹی کا بھی اظہار تشکر کیا۔
