Minister of Housing reviews projects of PHATA

Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, the Minister for Housing and Urban Development has told that Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) is the first one taking an initiative to introduce a low-cost private housing scheme for affordable houses.

This step is taken according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme. Under this project, 3 and marlas houses of about 406 in number have been started on the 135-Kanal land area in Eminabad on Wando Road, Gujranwala. 

Mian sahib said this while directing a review meeting of the housing scheme. The concerned officials who took part in the meeting were General Secretary Punjab Housing Task Force Atif Ayub, DG PHATA Muhammad Asif Ch, and PHATA board of directors` members. 

In this meeting, DG PHATA updated regarding the pace of development works carrying out on this low-cost housing scheme. Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed additionally told in the meeting that the scheme is known as “Garden Square” is a top project for MAAKSONS Pvt Ltd in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab (BoP), and the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) to facilitate housing for everyone. 

He added that for the fulfillment of the Prime Minister`s dream, the Bank of Punjab will provide loans to the buyers of the houses with easy process. Also, this low-cost housing scheme will be facilitated with underground electricity connections, best infrastructure, sewerage system, school, green area, and many other facilities. 

Moreover, PHATA is granting approval for the housing schemes of private sector builders and developers on a priority basis.

وزیر ہاؤسنگ اینڈ اربن ڈویلپمنٹ میاں محمود الرشید نے بتایا ہے کہ پنجاب ہاؤسنگ اینڈ ٹاؤن پلاننگ ایجنسی (فاٹا) سب سے پہلے ہے جس نے سستی مکانات کے لئے کم لاگت پرائیویٹ ہاؤسنگ اسکیم متعارف کروانے کا اقدام اٹھایا ہے۔

یہ اقدام نیا عمران ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کے تحت وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے وژن کے مطابق اٹھایا گیا ہے۔ اس پروجیکٹ کے تحت گوجرانوالہ کے وانڈو روڈ پر آمین آباد میں پینتیس کنال اراضی پر تین مرلہ اور پانچ مرلہ کے چار سو چھ مکانات کا کام شروع کیا گیا ہے۔

میاں صاحب نے یہ بات ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کے جائزہ اجلاس کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ متعلقہ عہدیداروں جنہوں نے اجلاس میں حصہ لیا جنرل سیکرٹری پنجاب ہاؤسنگ ٹاسک فورس عاطف ایوب ، ڈی جی فاٹا محمد آصف چوہدری ، اور فاٹا بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹرز کے ممبران شامل تھے۔

اس میٹنگ میں ، ڈی جی فاٹا نے اس کم لاگت ہاؤسنگ اسکیم پر چلنے والے ترقیاتی کاموں کی رفتار کے بارے میں تازہ کاری کی۔ میاں محمود الرشید نے اجلاس کے علاوہ یہ بھی بتایا کہ اس اسکیم کو "گارڈن اسکوائر" کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے۔ ہر ایک کے لئے رہائش کی سہولت۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وزیر اعظم کے خواب کی تکمیل کے لئے ، بینک آف پنجاب گھروں کے خریداروں کو آسان عمل کے ساتھ قرض فراہم کرے گا۔ نیز ، کم لاگت ہاؤسنگ اسکیم میں زیر زمین بجلی کے کنیکشن ، بہترین انفراسٹرکچر ، سیوریج سسٹم ، اسکول ، گرین ایریا اور بہت سی دیگر سہولیات کی سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی۔

مزید یہ کہ ، فاٹا نجی شعبے کے معماروں اور ڈویلپرز کی رہائشی سکیموں کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر منظوری دے رہا ہے۔
