Minister for Housing directs authorities for more residential projects in Punjab

The minister issued these orders while chairing a high-level meeting attended by Secretary Housing Zafar Nasrullah, Secretary Housing (South) Liaquat Chattha, General Secretary Housing Task Force Atif Ayub, Director-General Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahmed Aziz Tarar, Vice-Chairman Wasa Lahore Imtiaz Mahboob, and senior officials of Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala development authorities.

DG LDA also briefed the attendees of meeting about the model of LDA Apartments. He explained the model in detail and also informed about the finance management model of the project.

Speaking at the meeting, the Minister for Housing and Urban Development said that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is personally supervising the LDA Apartments project. He also urged the development authorities to work on their residential projects and submit the details at the earliest to get approval from the cabinet.

The minister directed all the development authorities to identify the land in their respective areas and submit the detail with regard to technical matters to this department. In this regard, LDA would offer the technical support to all other development authorities.

وزیر موصوف نے یہ احکامات سکریٹری ہاؤسنگ ظفر نصر اللہ ، سکریٹری ہاؤسنگ (جنوبی) لیاقت چٹھہ ، جنرل سکریٹری ہاؤسنگ ٹاسک فورس عاطف ایوب ، ڈائریکٹر جنرل لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل ڈی اے) احمد عزیز تارڑ ، نائب صدر ، سمیت ایک اعلی سطحی اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے جاری کیے۔ چیئرمین واسہ لاہور امتیاز محبوب ، اور فیصل آباد ، ملتان ، راولپنڈی اور گوجرانوالہ کے ترقیاتی حکام کے اعلی عہدیدار۔

ڈی جی ایل ڈی اے نے اجلاس کے شرکا کو ایل ڈی اے اپارٹمنٹس کے ماڈل کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے ماڈل کو تفصیل سے بتایا اور پروجیکٹ کے فنانس مینجمنٹ ماڈل کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔

اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیر ہائوسنگ اینڈ اربن ڈویلپمنٹ نے کہا کہ وزیر اعلی عثمان بزدار ایل ڈی اے اپارٹمنٹس منصوبے کی ذاتی طور پر نگرانی کر رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے ترقیاتی حکام پر بھی زور دیا کہ وہ اپنے رہائشی منصوبوں پر کام کریں اور کابینہ سے منظوری حاصل کرنے کے لئے جلد سے جلد تفصیلات پیش کریں۔

وزیر نے تمام ترقیاتی حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اپنے اپنے علاقوں میں اراضی کی نشاندہی کریں اور تکنیکی امور کے سلسلے میں اس محکمے کو تفصیل پیش کریں۔ اس سلسلے میں ، ایل ڈی اے دیگر تمام ترقیاتی حکام کو تکنیکی مدد فراہم کرے گا۔
