Metro bus to open from Peshawar Mor to Islamabad Airport from March 23

According to the news sources, The Peshawar Mor Central Station will function as the designated pick-up point. The National Highway Authority (NHA) had previously completed the 27km road from Peshawar Mor to the New Islamabad Airport in March last year for this purpose. The total cost incurred was Rs16 billion.

In addition, a "Capital Mass Transit Authority" will be established to oversee bus management and service. The authority will be established by an act of parliament, and it will have complete power over the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

According to the details, A shuttle bus service will run from three different sites throughout Islamabad to this central stop at the commencement of the route. This route will be served by 30 metro buses and will run daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This time frame is expected to grow as a result of the new route. This route would have a fare of Rs30 per passenger.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق پشاور موڑ سنٹرل سٹیشن نامزد پک اپ پوائنٹ کے طور پر کام کرے گا۔ نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی (این ایچ اے) نے اس سے قبل اس مقصد کے لیے پشاور موڑ سے نیو اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ تک 27 کلومیٹر طویل سڑک کو گزشتہ سال مارچ میں مکمل کیا تھا۔ کل لاگت 16 ارب روپے تھی۔
اس کے علاوہ، بسوں کے انتظام اور خدمات کی نگرانی کے لیے "کیپٹل ماس ٹرانزٹ اتھارٹی" قائم کی جائے گی۔ یہ اتھارٹی پارلیمنٹ کے ایک ایکٹ کے ذریعے قائم کی جائے گی، اور اسے کیپٹل ڈیولپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) پر مکمل اختیار حاصل ہوگا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق روٹ کے آغاز پر اسلام آباد میں تین مختلف مقامات سے اس مرکزی اسٹاپ تک ایک شٹل بس سروس چلائی جائے گی۔ اس روٹ پر 30 میٹرو بسیں چلیں گی اور روزانہ صبح 7 بجے سے رات 11 بجے تک چلیں گی۔ نئے روٹ کے نتیجے میں اس ٹائم فریم میں اضافہ متوقع ہے۔ اس روٹ کا کرایہ 30 روپے فی مسافر ہوگا۔
