Mega Bus terminal with a cost of 3.679 billion was started in Peshawar

According to the news sources, this Mega Bus terminal project will provide the best state-of-the-art facilities to passengers.  While talking to the media, Faisal Amin Khan that the new General Bus Stand on 300 kanals would be constructed outside the city at Sardar Ghari on G.T. Road. He said that the construction of the international standard Bus terminal was the most significant mega project under the Peshawar revival and beautification project.

The project is likely to be completed by the end of 2023. The minister said that the development of provincial capital was the topmost priority of his government, adding that all the mega projects initiated for this purpose should be completed within the stipulated timelines.

He said that the new bus stand would have state-of-the-art facilities including a car park, shops, cafeteria, waiting rooms, washrooms, workshops, service station, petrol pump, mosque, etc. He said that after the completion of the bus terminal, all types of bus stands operating inside the city will be shifted to the new terminal to ease traffic jams inside the city. Faisal Amin Khan said that the bus terminal would be directly linked to the BRT corridor to facilitate the passengers.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق یہ میگا بس ٹرمینل منصوبہ مسافروں کو بہترین جدید ترین سہولیات فراہم کرے گا۔ میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے فیصل امین خان نے کہا کہ 300 کنال پر نیا جنرل بس سٹینڈ شہر سے باہر جی ٹی پر سردار گھڑی میں تعمیر کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بین الاقوامی معیار کے بس ٹرمینل کی تعمیر پشاور کی بحالی اور خوبصورتی کے منصوبے کے تحت سب سے اہم میگا پراجیکٹ ہے۔
یہ منصوبہ 2023 کے آخر تک مکمل ہونے کا امکان ہے۔ وزیر نے کہا کہ صوبائی دارالحکومت کی ترقی ان کی حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس مقصد کے لیے شروع کیے گئے تمام میگا پراجیکٹس کو مقررہ مدت میں مکمل کیا جاۓ گا
انہوں نے کہا کہ نئے بس سٹینڈ میں جدید ترین سہولیات ہوں گی جن میں کار پارک، دکانیں، کیفے ٹیریا، ویٹنگ روم، واش روم، ورکشاپس، سروس سٹیشن، پٹرول پمپ، مسجد وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ بس ٹرمینل، شہر کے اندر کام کرنے والے تمام قسم کے بس سٹینڈز کو نئے ٹرمینل پر منتقل کر دیا جائے گا تاکہ شہر کے اندر ٹریفک جام کو کم کیا جا سکے۔ فیصل امین خان نے کہا کہ مسافروں کی سہولت کے لیے بس ٹرمینل کو براہ راست بی آر ٹی کوریڈور سے منسلک کیا جائے گا۔
