Meezan Bank Limited and Arif Habib group to develop and sell apartment towers at Naya Nazimabad

Both the firms have jointly entered a strategic partnership to develop and eventually sell the apartment towers. This collaboration will further allow customers to opt for the Shariah-Compliant home financing services, offered by MBL. With Meezan Bank’s Musharakah agreement with the Global Residency REIT, three apartment towers will be constructed consisting of 408 apartments, consisting of two bedrooms. The tower’s construction has been initiated which is expected to be completed within the next 18 months.

Meezan Bank will be contributing 50 percent of the shares in three of the nine towers which are being developed by the GRR under the Musharakah arrangement. Both MBL and GRR shall contribute 50% each for the cost of these apartments. Lastly, all required approvals from the SECP and SBCA have been acquired as well.
