MDA sets up separate desk for Construction Sector
Multan – Director-General Multan Development Authority (MDA) Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas on Sunday inaugurated a separate desk to facilitate the construction-related customers at MDA.
The desk was established at one window cell MDA Office for getting a complete certificate of properties, approval of private housing colonies maps, and land conversion/transfers.
The move came after the orders from the Punjab Government as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of facilitating the construction sector and the related people.
The timetable has also been set up by the authority, which says that any citizen could get a complete certificate of its property within a month from the department, 45 days for commercialization or conversion of domestic properties and 60 days limit fixed for approval of private housing colonies maps.
DG MDA, on this occasion, said that the initiative was taken for the construction sector and the staff has been directed to implement the timetable and facilitate the masses while ensuring strict implementation on the SOPs issued by the government regarding COVID-19.
