Master Plan Lahore 2050: LDA hire consultants

According to the news sources, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Chief Metropolitan Planner Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi has said that the services of international and local consultants have been hired for Master Plan Lahore 2050. While addressing the seminar on the preparation of Master Plan Lahore 2050 CMP expressed these views.

This seminar was organized by the LDA on Wednesday.  International consultants, planners, engineers, local government officers, architects, stakeholders, representatives of government/non-government organizations, and deans, chairmen, faculty, and students from various departments of the University of Engineering and Technology were among the participants.

While addressing the audience he further added, that under the master plan they are preparing an inclusive regional and city planning.

Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi also said that “For the preparation of a roadmap for the development, citizens, experts and other stakeholders of Lahore are being consulted.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل ڈی اے) کے چیف میٹروپولیٹن پلانر سید ندیم اختر زیدی نے کہا ہے کہ ماسٹر پلان لاہور 2050 کے لیے بین الاقوامی اور مقامی کنسلٹنٹس کی خدمات حاصل کر لی گئی ہیں۔ماسٹر پلان لاہور 2050 کی تیاری کے حوالے سے سیمینار سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار سی ایم پی نے کیا۔
یہ سیمینار بدھ کو ایل ڈی اے کی جانب سے منعقد کیا گیا تھا۔ بین الاقوامی کنسلٹنٹس، منصوبہ ساز، انجینئرز، مقامی سرکاری افسران، آرکیٹیکٹس، اسٹیک ہولڈرز، سرکاری/غیر سرکاری اداروں کے نمائندے، اور انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی یونیورسٹی کے مختلف شعبہ جات کے ڈین، چیئرمین، فیکلٹی اور طلباء نے شرکت کی۔
حاضرین سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ماسٹر پلان کے تحت وہ ایک جامع علاقائی اور شہر کی منصوبہ بندی کر رہے ہیں۔
سید ندیم اختر زیدی نے یہ بھی کہا کہ ’’ترقی کے لیے روڈ میپ کی تیاری کے لیے لاہور کے شہریوں، ماہرین اور دیگر اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے مشاورت کی جا رہی ہے۔
