Islamabad: The government has decided to extend the M-14 motorway to connect it with Ghulam Khan, and North Waziristan, reported a news source.
M-14, a 184km long motorway, falling under the umbrella of CPEC will be linked with the Pak-Afghan Motorway. The National Highway Authority issued a request for a proposal of consultancy services for the Feasibility Study and Detailed Design for the extension of the motorway. Financing for the project will be received through the Federal Government of Pakistan.
Pre-proposal conference for the project will be held on July 19, 2022, at the NHA headquarters in Islamabad. The procurement will be carried out by adopting the “Single State Two Envelops” procedure. The proposals for the project are complete and in accordance with the guidelines included in the RFP document. The proposals will reach around before August 10. 2022.

CPEC کی چھتری کے نیچے آنے والی 184 کلومیٹر لمبی موٹروے M-14 کو پاک افغان موٹر وے سے منسلک کیا جائے گا۔ نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی نے موٹر وے کی توسیع کے لیے فزیبلٹی اسٹڈی اور تفصیلی ڈیزائن کے لیے کنسلٹنسی سروسز کی تجویز کی درخواست جاری کی۔ منصوبے کے لیے فنانسنگ وفاقی حکومت پاکستان کے ذریعے حاصل کی جائے گی۔
منصوبے کے لیے پیشگی تجویز کانفرنس 19 جولائی 2022 کو اسلام آباد میں NHA ہیڈ کوارٹر میں منعقد ہوگی۔ خریداری "سنگل اسٹیٹ ٹو لفافے" کے طریقہ کار کو اپناتے ہوئے کی جائے گی۔ منصوبے کے لیے تجاویز مکمل اور آر ایف پی دستاویز میں شامل رہنما خطوط کے مطابق ہیں۔ تجاویز 10 اگست 2022 سے پہلے پہنچ جائیں گی۔
