LWMC starts work on rehabilitation of compost plant

LWMC CEO visited the compost plant on Monday to review and monitor the whole process of making compost from waste followed by a review of machinery and test product.

Compost (Beliya) is a 100pc naturally rich organic amendment used for improving the performance of all types of soils. It contains no synthetic chemicals; its naturally occurring nutrients are derived slowly from the raw material used.

It is rich in valuable micro-organisms and humus content, and can be used for a wide range of agricultural fertilizers whereas composting is a process involving biochemical conversion of organic matter into humus.

A composting process seeks to harness the natural forces of decomposition to secure the conversion of organic waste into organic manure. During the visit, the CEO gave standing instructions to fully operational the plant.

She was also directed to take the help of modern systems regarding product testing and development. This Beliya made from organic waste has also been registered from the irrigation department.

CEO Rafia Haider said that converting waste into compost will benefit the environment by reducing the waste heaps. Composting will also address the problem of waste disposal, she added. She also instructed the team to make the product good and in large quantities so that it can make a place in the market.

She said priority should be given to make environment-friendly and organic products and the best arrangements will be made for the production of organic fertilizers as per international standards.

ایل ڈبلیو ایم سی کے سی ای او نے پیر کو کمپوسٹ پلانٹ کا دورہ کیا اور فضلہ سے کمپوسٹ بنانے کے پورے عمل کا جائزہ لیا اور اس کی نگرانی کی جس کے بعد مشینری اور ٹیسٹ پروڈکٹ کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

کمپوسٹ (بیلیا) ایک 100 فیصد قدرتی طور پر امیر نامیاتی ترمیم ہے جو ہر قسم کی زمین کی کارکردگی کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ اس میں کوئی مصنوعی کیمیکل نہیں ہے اس کے قدرتی پائے جانے والے غذائی اجزاء استعمال شدہ خام مال سے آہستہ آہستہ اخذ کیے جاتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے مصنوعات کی جانچ اور ترقی کے حوالے سے جدید نظام کی مدد لینے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔ نامیاتی فضلے سے بنی یہ بیلیا بھی محکمہ آبپاشی سے رجسٹرڈ ہے۔

سی ای او رفیعہ حیدر نے کہا کہ کچرے کو کمپوسٹ میں تبدیل کرنے سے فضلے کے ڈھیروں کو کم کرکے ماحول کو فائدہ پہنچے گا۔ کمپوسٹنگ فضلے کو ٹھکانے لگانے کے مسئلے کو بھی حل کرے گی۔ اس نے ٹیم کو یہ بھی ہدایت کی کہ وہ مصنوعات کو اچھی اور بڑی مقدار میں بنائے تاکہ یہ مارکیٹ میں جگہ بنا سکے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ماحول دوست اور نامیاتی مصنوعات کو ترجیح دی جانی چاہیے اور بین الاقوامی معیار کے مطابق نامیاتی کھاد کی پیداوار کے لیے بہترین انتظامات کیے جائیں گے۔
