LAHORE: Lucky Cement Limited (PSX: LUCK) told the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday that it has approved the resolution to recommend a second repurchase of up to 23.8 million, or 7.59 percent, of its issued ordinary shares. (Reported by news source)
The Board of Directors approved and decided to recommend the purchase/buyback of up to 23,800,000 issued ordinary shares of the Company. Lucky Cement is the first company to announce a second repurchase as a result of this development.
According to the firm, the buyback will have a favourable impact on Lucky Cement's future financial condition, including the break-up value of the firm's shares and its Earnings per Share.
The current Buy-Back will also provide an exit opportunity to those members who wish to liquidate their investment, fully or partially, including those who were unable to do so during the previous Buy-Back, the filing stated.

لکی سیمنٹ پہلی کمپنی ہے جس نے اس ترقی کے نتیجے میں دوسری دوبارہ خریداری کا اعلان کیا۔
فرم کے مطابق، بائ بیک کا لکی سیمنٹ کی مستقبل کی مالی حالت پر سازگار اثر پڑے گا، جس میں فرم کے حصص کی بریک اپ ویلیو اور اس کی فی شیئر آمدنی شامل ہے۔
فائلنگ میں کہا گیا کہ موجودہ بائ بیک ان ممبران کو بھی باہر نکلنے کا موقع فراہم کرے گا جو اپنی سرمایہ کاری کو مکمل یا جزوی طور پر ختم کرنا چاہتے ہیں، بشمول وہ لوگ جو پچھلی بائ بیک کے دوران ایسا کرنے سے قاصر تھے۔
