Lahore: Punjab’s Chief Minister Usman Buzdar stated that the provincial government is agreed to ease the lockdown strictness to facilitate the businesses that are linked with the construction industry.
This decision was taken with the consent of federal government opinion. This step has taken to provide relief to a large number of Pakistanis that are somehow linked with the construction field.
According to the reports, CM Buzdar furthermore mentioned that the businesses are free to resume the remaining projects across the province. Operations may include constructions, manufacturing, distribution and sale of pipes, sanitary wares, hardware, cables, paint, ceramics, and all related jobs.
As per the record, he said that the small shops and markets will operate 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday till 5 PM all over Punjab. He also clarified that the mentioned timings do not affect the operations of pharmacies, general stores, dairy shops, and all other sectors that were previously reopened.
CM Buzdar has strictly ordered the shopkeepers and the stores management to follow the SOP’s mentioned by the government to make sure that that government has succeeded to keep the COVID’19 under control.
