LDA to take actions against illegal construction

Unknown resources reported that on the directions of DG LDA Ahmad Aziz Tarar, LDA staff conducted operations against the illegal buildings in various areas of Lahore and sealed 26 buildings without notice as the owners were notified earlier.

LDA staff destroyed two illegal shops constructed on Plot# 40 Huma Block and sealed another commercial building located on Plot#610 Umar Block in Allama Iqbal Town.

Two more commercial buildings from Iqbal Town, located on plot# 370 Umar Block and Plot# 658 Nizam Block are also sealed during the operation.

17 properties were also sealed for non-payment of the commercialization fee.
