LAHORE: As a first but a huge step towards PM’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme, LDA has approved construction of 4,000 residential units at a cost of about 10 billion PKR during the first phase of LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments Project.
The citizen who provided the mortgage facility by Naya Pakistan Housing Authority and the commercial banks will now be eligible for purchasing the apartments.
The seventh meeting of the LDA chaired by Vice-chairman SM Imran held on Thursday addressed that LDA had planned to construct apartments on 563 Kanal at Mouza Haloki for a duration of 1 year.
In the first phase 125 blocks of ground plus three-story apartment, each consisting of 32 residential units along with parks, mosques, and other necessary amenities.
The meeting also decided to construct infrastructure including roads, water supply, and sewerage system, sidewalks, water treatment plants, and other networks on 8500 Kanals of land reserved for construction of 35,000 apartments and approved PC-1 for amounting to 20 billion PKR for the cause.
It was informed in the meeting that the purchaser will have to deposit only 10% of the total cost as a down payment while with rest will be transferred by the banks to the ESCRO account of the project.

نیا پاکستان ہاؤسنگ اتھارٹی اور تجارتی بینکوں کے ذریعہ رہن کی سہولت فراہم کرنے والے شہری اب اپارٹمنٹس خریدنے کے اہل ہوں گے۔
جمعرات کو وائس چیرمین ایس ایم عمران کی زیرصدارت ایل ڈی اے کا ساتواں اجلاس نے خطاب کیا کہ ایل ڈی اے نے 1 سال کی مدت میں موضع ہالوکی میں 563 کنال پر اپارٹمنٹ بنانے کا منصوبہ بنایا ہے۔
پہلے مرحلے میں گراؤنڈ پلس تھری منزلہ اپارٹمنٹ کے 125 بلاکس ، پارکس ، مساجد اور دیگر ضروری سہولیات کے ساتھ 32 رہائشی یونٹس پر مشتمل ہیں۔
اجلاس میں 35،000 اپارٹمنٹس کی تعمیر کے لئے مختص 8500 کنال اراضی پر سڑکیں ، واٹر سپلائی ، اور سیوریج سسٹم ، فٹ پاتھوں ، واٹر ٹریٹمنٹ پلانٹس اور دیگر نیٹ ورکس سمیت بنیادی ڈھانچے کی تعمیر کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا اور پی سی 1 کو 20 ارب پاکستانی روپے کی رقم کی منظوری دی گئی وجہ
اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ خریدار کو کل لاگت کا صرف 10٪ ڈاون ادائیگی کے طور پر جمع کرنا پڑے گا جبکہ باقی رقم بینکوں کے ذریعہ پروجیکٹ کے ایسکرو اکاؤنٹ میں منتقل کردی جائے گی۔
