LDA Strategies Commercial Activities Over 32 roads

A meeting was conducted, consisting of a Special Commercialization Committee and this decision, regarding initiation of commercial activities on these roads, was taken in this meeting.

The decision of appointing a consultant was made by Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to look after the possibilities of strategizing new businesses and commercial activities over 32 frozen roads in Lahore. 

The meeting was led by Ahmed Aziz Tarar – The Director General Lahore Development Authority, and officials who attended the meeting were Chief Traffic Officer Syed Hammad Abid, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik, Chief Town Planner Tariq Mahmood, Chief Engineer Abdul Razzaq, and last but not the least, Chief Metropolitan Planner Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi. 

It was further decided in this meeting that ToRs will be selected for carrying out the selection of consultant firm and afterward, the appointment will be done according to the rules of PAPRA. 

The elected consultancy firm will carry out a detailed survey over 18 roads within the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), and 14 roads within the Metropolitan Corporation. 

After conducting the in-depth survey, they will prepare a report upon the nature and type of existing businesses, also the possibility of new commercial activities to initiate there. 

لاہور: لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل ڈی اے) نے منجمد 32 سڑکوں پر تجارتی سرگرمیوں کی حکمت عملی کے لئے ایک مشیر کی تقرری کا سنجیدہ فیصلہ لیا ہے۔

اس میٹنگ میں ایک خصوصی کمرشلائزیشن کمیٹی پر مشتمل ایک میٹنگ کا انعقاد کیا گیا ، اور ان سڑکوں پر تجارتی سرگرمیاں شروع کرنے کے بارے میں یہ فیصلہ لیا گیا۔

کنسلٹنٹ کی تقرری کا فیصلہ لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل ڈی اے) نے لاہور میں 32 منجمد سڑکوں پر نئے کاروبار اور تجارتی سرگرمیوں کی حکمت عملی بنانے کے امکانات کو دیکھنے کے لئے کیا تھا۔

اس میٹنگ کی قیادت احمد عزیز تارڑ کر رہے تھے۔ ڈائریکٹر جنرل لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی ، اور اجلاس میں شریک عہدیداروں نے چیف ٹریفک آفیسر سید حمد عابد ، ڈپٹی کمشنر لاہور مدثر ریاض ملک ، چیف ٹاؤن پلانر طارق محمود ، چیف انجینئر عبدالرزاق ، اور آخری ملاقات کی۔ لیکن کم سے کم نہیں ، چیف میٹرو پولیٹن پلانر سید ندیم اختر زیدی۔

اس میٹنگ میں مزید فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ کنسلٹنٹ فرم کے انتخاب کو انجام دینے کے لئے ٹی او آرز کا انتخاب کیا جائے گا اور اس کے بعد پی پی آر اے کے قواعد کے مطابق تقرری کی جائے گی۔

منتخبہ کنسلٹنسی فرم لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (ایل ڈی اے) کے اندر 18 سڑکوں اور میٹرو پولیٹن کارپوریشن کے اندر 14 سڑکوں پر ایک تفصیلی سروے کرے گی۔

گہرائی میں سروے کرنے کے بعد ، وہ موجودہ کاروبار کی نوعیت اور اس کی نوعیت کے بارے میں ایک رپورٹ تیار کریں گے ، وہاں نئی تجارتی سرگرمیاں شروع ہونے کا امکان بھی ہے۔
