LDA seals 70 buildings for illegal commercial use

Directions for carrying out this operation were given by Lahore Development Authority Director-General Ahmed Aziz Tarar. The LDA staff and police did this operation from Kahna Flyover to Shano Baba Chowk. A marquee was also sealed in between.

While the staff of the Estate Management Directorate Private Housing Scheme of Metropolitan Planning Wing caught and recovered public utility sites in a private housing scheme that are approved, although their offices were sealed on the basis of non-fulfillment of legal requirements by their developers. Also, illegally constructed structures on the graveyard site and a plot reserved for public buildings in TOP society, was destroyed by the LDA Staff.

Moreover, A house built on public utility, a tower in the park, and a boundary wall in an approved scheme Khayaban-e-Zahra was also destroyed. The pathway between Punjab Society and Gul Daman Society also get cleared. The boundary walls of Aftab Homes and Noman Block were also destroyed because these were illegal housing schemes.

Due to non-compliance with legal requirements, irregularities in the approved scheme plan, and non-fulfillment of transfer deeds; the offices of Valencia Town, Audit and Accounts Society, and Pasco Employees Society were also sealed.

جبکہ میٹرو پولیٹن پلاننگ ونگ کی اسٹیٹ مینجمنٹ ڈائریکٹوریٹ پرائیویٹ ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کے عملے نے نجی رہائش اسکیم میں عوامی افادیت کی سائٹس کو پکڑ کر بازیافت کی جن کی منظوری دی گئی ہے ، حالانکہ ان کے ڈویلپرز کے ذریعہ قانونی تقاضوں کی عدم تکمیل کی بنا پر ان کے دفاتر سیل کردیئے گئے تھے۔ اس کے علاوہ ، قبرستان کی جگہ پر غیر قانونی طور پر تعمیر شدہ ڈھانچے اور ٹاپ سوسائٹی میں عوامی عمارت کے لئے مختص پلاٹ ، ایل ڈی اے اسٹاف نے تباہ کردیا۔

قانونی تقاضوں پر عمل نہ کرنے ، منظور شدہ اسکیم پلان میں بے ضابطگیاں اور منتقلی کے کاموں کی عدم تکمیل کی وجہ سے۔ والنسیا ٹاؤن ، آڈٹ اینڈ اکاؤنٹس سوسائٹی ، اور پاسکو ایمپلائز سوسائٹی کے دفاتر کو بھی سیل کردیا گیا۔
