Lahore: After Canal Road and Jail Road, now its time for Ferozepur Road to becomes signal free corridor. LDA has made the design of protected U-turn over Qainchee and Walton stop. The NOC has also been initiated by PHA.
LDA is done with making the entire plan for converting the Qainchee flyover and Walton Road into signal-free zone. According to the planning, new road and new U-turn will be built for its implementation.
LDA has already started utilizing the services by different firms for contributing in fulfillment of the aim of making the city signal-free, slowly and gradually.
It has been estimated that about 5 crore 73 lakh will be required in making Walton Road and Qainchee flyover a signal-free corridor. The contract of this project will be given to the three asphalt carpeting firms.
The work over the protected U-turn will be completed within the period of two months.
لاہور: کینال روڈ اور جیل روڈ کے بعد اب فیروز پور روڈ کا سگنل فری راہداری بننے کا وقت آگیا ہے۔ ایل ڈی اے نے کینچی اور والٹن اسٹاپ سے زیادہ محفوظ یو ٹرن کا ڈیزائن بنایا ہے۔ این او سی بھی پی ایچ اے نے شروع کی ہے۔
ایل ڈی اے قینچی فلائی اوور اور والٹن روڈ کو سگنل فری زون میں تبدیل کرنے کے پورے منصوبے بنانے کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ منصوبہ بندی کے مطابق ، اس کے نفاذ کے لئے ایک نئی سڑک اور نیا یو ٹرن بنایا جائے گا۔
ایل ڈی اے نے پہلے ہی مختلف کمپنیوں کے ذریعہ خدمات کو استعمال کرنا شروع کیا ہے تاکہ آہستہ آہستہ اور شہر کو سگنل فری سے پاک بنانے کے مقصد کی تکمیل میں کردار ادا کیا جاسکے۔
ایک اندازے کے مطابق والٹن روڈ اور قینچی فلائی اوور کو سگنل فری راہداری بنانے میں تقریبا 5 کروڑ 73 لاکھ کی ضرورت ہوگی۔ اس منصوبے کا معاہدہ تینوں ڈامر قالین سازی فرموں کو دیا جائے گا۔
محفوظ یو ٹرن پر کام دو ماہ کی مدت میں مکمل ہوجائے گا۔
