LAHORE: Under the direction of the commissioner for Lahore and the director general of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, several teams carried out operations against unauthorized building and commercialization in various commercial and residential areas of the provincialcapital. An LDA team under the manner of Town Planning Zone 2 Chief Town Planning Shakeel Anjum and Local Planning Director Salman Mehfooz conducted the operation as directed by General Director LDA Amir Ahmed Khan at Multan Road, Sabzazar Scheme, Canal Road, Katarband Road, Allama Iqbal Town, and Marghazar Colony.
Furthermore, present at the site were members of the LDA enforcement wing and the police force. In the city,efforts against unauthorized structures would continue, according to the LDA director general.
