LDA launches campaign against illegal constructions

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) launched a campaign against illegal constructions and encroachments and demolished several buildings. Officials said the drive was started on the direction of Director General LDA.

They said staff of Town Planning with a large contingent of enforcement staff and police conducted a grand operation against illegal constructions and encroachments in the adjoining areas of Gulshan-e-Ravi, Samanabad, Jail Road and Canal Road and demolished and sealed several illegal buildings, shops, showrooms and unplanned structures.

On the occasion, Chief Town Planner said that full action would be taken against illegal constructions and negligence of LDA staff would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ٹاؤن پلاننگ کے عملے نے نافذ کرنے والے عملے اور پولیس کی بھاری نفری کے ساتھ گلشن راوی ، سمن آباد ، جیل روڈ اور کینال روڈ کے ملحقہ علاقوں میں غیر قانونی تعمیرات اور تجاوزات کے خلاف گرینڈ آپریشن کیا اور کئی غیر قانونی عمارتوں کو مسمار اور سیل کیا ، دکانیں ، شوروم اور غیر منصوبہ بند ڈھانچے۔

اس موقع پر چیف ٹاؤن پلانر نے کہا کہ غیر قانونی تعمیرات کے خلاف بھرپور کارروائی کی جائے گی اور ایل ڈی اے عملے کی غفلت کسی صورت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔
