LDA DG reviewed the development work of three ongoing projects

DG LDA, Chaudhary Mohammad Ali Randhawa directed the officers to expedite the progress of all their projects and said the Managing Director WASA should personally monitor them. Added to that, he also said the land acquisition work needed to be completed on time, and special measures needed to be taken to ease the traffic flow.

Furthermore, he said that any people-friendly projects must not face any unnecessary delays.

The officers informed him that 90% of the work of the Data Ganj Bakhsh flyover was complete, which will allow more than 130000 vehicles to pass through easing the traffic flow. The flyover will be signal free as well, consisting of two lanes.

During the visit to the Minar-e-Pakistan sports complex, the LDA directed his officers to complete their work on the project. The chief engineer told the DG that the sports complex had been constructed on a 46 Kanal area, and 90% of work had been completed already.

مزید برآں، انہوں نے کہا کہ کسی بھی عوام دوست منصوبے میں غیر ضروری تاخیر کا سامنا نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔
افسران نے انہیں بتایا کہ داتا گنج بخش فلائی اوور کا 90 فیصد کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے جس سے 130000 سے زائد گاڑیاں ٹریفک کی روانی میں آسانی پیدا کر سکیں گی۔ فلائی اوور دو لین پر مشتمل سگنل فری بھی ہوگا۔
مینار پاکستان سپورٹس کمپلیکس کے دورے کے دوران ایل ڈی اے نے اپنے افسران کو منصوبے پر کام مکمل کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ چیف انجینئر نے ڈی جی کو بتایا کہ سپورٹس کمپلیکس 46 کنال رقبے پر تعمیر کیا گیا ہے اور 90 فیصد کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے۔
