Lahore: In a recent development, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has permitted the amalgamation of a piece of land equal in size and adjacent to an existing business besides allowing setting up area development projects for the construction of commercial plazas on pieces of land measuring 24 kanals or more located on 60-feet wide roads.
LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran announced this in a media briefing and said that the approval of Land Use Regulations by the governing body of LDA would boost the business activities in all districts of Lahore including Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib.
The implementation of land use regulations for starting new ventures will facilitate business and create new employment opportunities for the people, said the Vice Chairman, SM Imran.
He also acclaimed the efforts of the government for appointing the chairman of the commission and exclaimed that it is the mandate of the commission to solve the longstanding problems of the citizens.
In separate news, LDA has decided to hold the auction of diversified properties in Lahore on October 6. The properties on auction include residential, commercial, marquee sites, community centers, parking plazas, petrol pumps, and others.

ایل ڈی اے کے وائس چیئرمین ایس ایم عمران نے میڈیا بریفنگ میں اس کا اعلان کیا اور کہا کہ ایل ڈی اے کی گورننگ باڈی کی جانب سے لینڈ یوز ریگولیشنز کی منظوری سے لاہور کے تمام اضلاع بشمول قصور ، شیخوپورہ ، اور ننکانہ صاحب میں کاروباری سرگرمیوں کو فروغ ملے گا۔
وائس چیئرمین ، ایس ایم عمران نے کہا ، نئے منصوبے شروع کرنے کے لئے زمینی استعمال کے ضوابط پر عمل درآمد سے کاروبار میں آسانی ہوگی اور لوگوں کے لئے روزگار کے نئے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے۔
انہوں نے کمیشن کے چیئرمین کی تقرری کے لئے حکومت کی کاوشوں کی بھی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ شہریوں کے دیرینہ مسائل کو حل کرنا کمیشن کا مینڈیٹ ہے۔
