Lasbela Chamber demands the bridge restoration must begin right away on Hub River

According to LCCI President Ismail Suttar, the Hub Bridge is the primary route connecting Lasbela district in Sindh with Balochistan. The last monsoon season brought significant rainfall and flooding, which caused the bridge to collapse.

When the rains stopped and the river's flow returned to normal, NHA promised to construct the causeway on Hub River within 15 days. The work was scheduled to begin on September 15, 2022.

The lack of progress on the bridge and causeway has the LCCI members very worried.

On November 7, 2022, a few light raindrops made the commute even more dreary. The people who use this road to travel to Hub and beyond have a very difficult time because this vital road link between Sindh and Balochistan was missed.

Meeting demanded that NHA immediately begin construction on the causeway and bridge because the project has already been delayed and the winter rains have already begun.

لاہور چیمبر کے صدر اسماعیل ستار کے مطابق حب پل سندھ کے ضلع لسبیلہ کو بلوچستان سے ملانے والا بنیادی راستہ ہے۔ پچھلے مون سون کے موسم میں کافی بارشیں اور سیلاب آیا جس کی وجہ سے پل ٹوٹ گیا۔
جب بارشیں رک گئیں اور دریا کا بہاؤ معمول پر آگیا تو NHA نے 15 دن کے اندر دریائے حب پر کاز وے بنانے کا وعدہ کیا۔ یہ کام 15 ستمبر 2022 کو شروع ہونا تھا۔
پل اور کاز وے پر پیش رفت نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے ایل سی سی آئی کے اراکین کافی پریشان ہیں۔
7 نومبر 2022 کو بارش کی چند ہلکی بوندوں نے سفر کو اور بھی خوفناک بنا دیا۔ جو لوگ اس سڑک کو حب اور اس سے آگے جانے کے لیے استعمال کرتے ہیں ان کو بہت مشکل کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے کیونکہ سندھ اور بلوچستان کے درمیان یہ اہم روڈ رابطہ چھوٹ گیا تھا۔
اجلاس میں مطالبہ کیا گیا کہ این ایچ اے فوری طور پر کاز وے اور پل کی تعمیر شروع کرے کیونکہ منصوبہ پہلے ہی تاخیر کا شکار ہے اور موسم سرما کی بارشیں شروع ہو چکی ہیں۔
