Lahore to become a smart city with every facility available online

A time frame and planning commission has been prepared to make Lahore a smart city. The local Government Department and PITB Board will make the city a smart city.

According to the details, Lahore will be a smart city in the style of international developed cities in which under a system, everything will be available to the people of Lahore on their mobiles at the official level, including online parking and online government doctor booking.

Under Smart City, fees will be fixed for going to Central Areas of Lahore while working hours will be fixed for entry into Central City.

Under Smart City, a first aid app will be developed for the citizens. Electricity and gas bills will be paid through the official app. Every facility will be provided at the government level by creating a portal for the citizens.

The city will have smart street lights and smart waste management. The city's street lights will be attributed to the movement of citizens.

All facilities from police to business will be available on a government dashboard. The facility to recharge the card for the use of public transport will be in the mobile. According to officials, the Punjab government will complete phase one to make Lahore a smart city by 2024.

A Command and Control Center and a team will also be set up to oversee the Smart City project, which will cost more than Rs 85 crore annually.

لاہور کو سمارٹ سٹی بنانے کے لیے ایک ٹائم فریم اور پلاننگ کمیشن تیار کیا گیا ہے۔ محکمہ لوکل گورنمنٹ اور پی آئی ٹی بی بورڈ شہر کو اسمارٹ سٹی بنائیں گے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق لاہور بین الاقوامی ترقی یافتہ شہروں کی طرز پر ایک سمارٹ سٹی ہوگا جس میں ایک سسٹم کے تحت لاہور کے لوگوں کو سرکاری سطح پر ان کے موبائل پر ہر چیز دستیاب ہو گی جس میں آن لائن پارکنگ اور آن لائن سرکاری ڈاکٹر بکنگ بھی شامل ہے۔

اسمارٹ سٹی کے تحت لاہور کے مرکزی علاقوں میں جانے کے لیے فیس مقرر کی جائے گی جبکہ سنٹرل سٹی میں داخلے کے لیے اوقات کار طے کیے جائیں گے۔

اسمارٹ سٹی کے تحت شہریوں کے لیے فرسٹ ایڈ ایپ تیار کی جائے گی۔ بجلی اور گیس کے بل سرکاری ایپ کے ذریعے ادا کیے جائیں گے۔ شہریوں کے لیے ایک پورٹل بنا کر سرکاری سطح پر ہر سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی۔

شہر میں سمارٹ اسٹریٹ لائٹس اور سمارٹ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ ہوگی۔ شہر کی سٹریٹ لائٹس شہریوں کی نقل و حرکت سے منسوب ہوں گی۔

پولیس سے لے کر کاروبار تک تمام سہولیات سرکاری ڈیش بورڈ پر دستیاب ہوں گی۔ پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کے استعمال کے لیے کارڈ کو ریچارج کرنے کی سہولت موبائل میں ہوگی۔ حکام کے مطابق پنجاب حکومت 2024 تک لاہور کو سمارٹ سٹی بنانے کے لیے پہلا مرحلہ مکمل کرے گی۔

ایک کمانڈ اینڈ کنٹرول سنٹر اور ایک ٹیم بھی اسمارٹ سٹی پراجیکٹ کی نگرانی کے لیے قائم کی جائے گی ، جس پر سالانہ 85 کروڑ روپے سے زیادہ لاگت آئے گی۔
