Lahore Qalandars Demands Large-capacity stadium of 80,000 people in Lahore

According to the news sources, Atif Rana, the Chief Executive of Lahore Qalandars, was the first to make this demand. He believes that Gaddafi Stadium’s existing capacity does not adequately serve the fans.

“HBL PSL 7 was too huge for Gaddafi Stadium. Almost the same number of spectators who were inside the stadium were also outside for the final match. Given the passion and interest of the people, a new, larger stadium is required “he stated.

Aqib Javed, the coach of the Qalandars, has also expressed his desire for a larger stadium to accommodate more eager fans.

According to the details, “The Lahore Qalandars is working on this, and further progress will be witnessed in the coming days. Lahore is a densely crowded city with a population of 20 million people, thus a stadium with a capacity of 27,000 people is inadequate “the former bowler stated.

“The Lahore fan base is not restricted to Lahore; it extends throughout Pakistan,” Aqib explained.

“ایچ بی ایل - پی ایس ایل 7 قذافی اسٹیڈیم کے لیے بہت بڑا تھا۔ تقریباً اتنی ہی تعداد میں تماشائی جو اسٹیڈیم کے اندر تھے فائنل میچ کے لیے باہر بھی تھے۔ لوگوں کے جذبے اور دلچسپی کو دیکھتے ہوئے ایک نئے، بڑے اسٹیڈیم کی ضرورت ہے۔
قلندرز کے کوچ عاقب جاوید نے بھی زیادہ شوقین شائقین کے لیے ایک بڑے اسٹیڈیم کی خواہش کا اظہار کیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق لاہور قلندرز اس پر کام کر رہی ہے اور آنے والے دنوں میں مزید پیش رفت دیکھنے کو ملے گی۔ لاہور 20 ملین لوگوں کی آبادی کے ساتھ ایک گنجان شہر ہے، اس طرح 27,000 لوگوں کی گنجائش والا اسٹیڈیم ناکافی ہے۔‘‘ سابق بولر نے کہا۔
