‘Kutcherry Chowk project to be started soon

While talking to the media CDA chairman Mehmood Tariq said that after the completion of the Ammar Chowk project, now construction work of the Kutcherry Chowk project would be started.

This project was approved by Central Development Working Party (CDWP) and the estimated cost of this project would be Rs4.7 billion. The Kutcherry Chowk’s two-story flyover design was unique and it would be the first of its kind in the country.  He added.

While talking to the media he further added that the design work of Kutcherry Chowk had been finished and shifting of the utility services would be started during this month while the tendering process would be started in March.

He informed that after completion of the Kutcherry Chowk project, the construction work of the Defence Chowk project would be in progress which would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs2.1 billion. He said in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, solid steps were being occupied to make the surrounding area of Ammar Chowk underpass clean and green.

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے چیئرمین سی ڈی اے محمود طارق کا کہنا تھا کہ عمار چوک منصوبہ مکمل ہونے کے بعد اب کچری چوک پراجیکٹ کا تعمیراتی کام شروع کر دیا جائے گا۔
اس منصوبے کی منظوری سینٹرل ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی (سی ڈی ڈبلیو پی) نے دی تھی اور اس منصوبے کی تخمینہ لاگت 4.7 بلین روپے ہوگی۔ کچری چوک کے دو منزلہ فلائی اوور کا ڈیزائن منفرد تھا اور یہ ملک میں اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا ہوگا۔ اس نے شامل کیا.
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کچری چوک کے ڈیزائن کا کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے اور یوٹیلیٹی سروسز کی شفٹنگ کا کام رواں ماہ شروع کر دیا جائے گا جبکہ ٹینڈرنگ کا عمل مارچ میں شروع کر دیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ کچیری چوک منصوبے کی تکمیل کے بعد ڈیفنس چوک منصوبے کا تعمیراتی کام جاری ہے جس پر 2.1 ارب روپے کی لاگت کا تخمینہ لگایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے ویژن کے مطابق عمار چوک انڈر پاس کے ارد گرد کے علاقے کو صاف ستھرا اور سرسبز بنانے کے لیے ٹھوس اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
