Kumharanwala chowk to be redesigned

According to the news sources, this was disclosed by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amir Karim Khan during his visit to Chowk Kumharanwala along with officers of the departments concerned.

He said that the chowk was expanded and the green belt would be constructed on it to improve the traffic flow and beautification of the road. He further added that the best parking arrangements would be made under the flyover of the chowk.

According to the details, the deputy commissioner said the culture, tradition, and historic identity of the city of saints would be inscribed at the flyover.

He directed the officers of Multan development authority and parks and horticulture authority PHA to make a comprehensive plan for the project.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اس بات کا انکشاف ڈپٹی کمشنر (ڈی سی) امیر کریم خان نے متعلقہ محکموں کے افسران کے ہمراہ چوک کمہارانوالہ کے دورہ کے دوران کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ چوک کو وسیع کر کے اس پر گرین بیلٹ تعمیر کی جائے گی تاکہ ٹریفک کی روانی بہتر ہو اور سڑک کی خوبصورتی ہو سکے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ چوک کے فلائی اوور کے نیچے پارکنگ کے بہترین انتظامات کیے جائیں گے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ڈپٹی کمشنر نے کہا کہ فلائی اوور پر اولیاء کے شہر کی ثقافت، روایت اور تاریخی تشخص کندہ کیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے ملتان ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی اور پارکس اینڈ ہارٹیکلچر اتھارٹی پی ایچ اے کے افسران کو اس منصوبے کے لیے جامع پلان بنانے کی ہدایت کی۔
