KP to participate in Dubai Expo in UAE

The KP government would participate in the Dubai International Expo in the UAE to highlight the positive image of the province at the international level, a meeting was told.

Chief Minister Khyber Mahmood Khan chaired the meeting which reviewed the arrangements and preparations for participation in Dubai Expo.

The meeting was briefed about the arrangements of the provincial government for participating in the Dubai Expo, proposed activities in the expo, and other related matters said our sources.

It was informed that 192 countries, including Pakistan, would participate in the expo and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would participate in this international expo in January next year.

It was further informed that according to the initial tentative schedule, KP Pavilion would be set up in the expo on January 1, 2022, and various products of the province including leather, textile, handicraft, cottage, and other products will be exhibited.

On January 6-7, special economic zones investment conference on Rashakai Special Economic Zone, Ghazi Economic Zone, Chitral Economic Zone, and the proposed Draban Special Economic Zone would be held.

The Mines and Minerals Investment Conference would be held on January 10-11, coupled with an exhibition of gemstones. A conference on tourism, culture, and archeology will also be held on January 14 and 15, focusing on the Integrated Tourism Zones.

ایک اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ کے پی حکومت متحدہ عرب امارات میں دبئی انٹرنیشنل ایکسپو میں شرکت کرے گی تاکہ صوبے کا مثبت امیج بین الاقوامی سطح پر اجاگر کیا جا سکے۔

وزیراعلیٰ خیبر محمود خان نے اجلاس کی صدارت کی جس میں دبئی ایکسپو میں شرکت کے انتظامات اور تیاریوں کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔
ہمارے ذرائع نے بتایا کہ اجلاس کو دبئی ایکسپو میں شرکت کے لیے صوبائی حکومت کے انتظامات ، ایکسپو میں مجوزہ سرگرمیوں اور دیگر متعلقہ امور کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی گئی۔

بتایا گیا کہ پاکستان سمیت 192 ممالک ایکسپو میں حصہ لیں گے اور خیبر پختونخوا حکومت اگلے سال جنوری میں ہونے والے اس بین الاقوامی ایکسپو میں شرکت کرے گی۔

مزید بتایا گیا کہ ابتدائی عارضی شیڈول کے مطابق یکم جنوری 2022 کو ایکسپو میں کے پی پویلین قائم کیا جائے گا اور صوبے کی مختلف مصنوعات بشمول چمڑا ، ٹیکسٹائل ، دستکاری ، کاٹیج اور دیگر مصنوعات کی نمائش کی جائے گی۔

6-7 جنوری کو رشکئی سپیشل اکنامک زون ، غازی اکنامک زون ، چترال اکنامک زون اور مجوزہ ڈربن اسپیشل اکنامک زون پر خصوصی اقتصادی زون سرمایہ کاری کانفرنس منعقد ہوگی۔

مائنز اینڈ منرلز انویسٹمنٹ کانفرنس 10-11 جنوری کو منعقد ہوگی ، اس کے ساتھ ساتھ جواہرات کی نمائش بھی ہوگی۔ سیاحت ، ثقافت اور آثار قدیمہ پر ایک کانفرنس بھی 14 اور 15 جنوری کو منعقد کی جائے گی ، جس میں مربوط سیاحت کے علاقوں پر توجہ دی جائے گی۔
