KP proposes a 26-kilometer route to connect Bannu City to the Indus Highway

According to the Provincial Communication and Works (C&W) Department, the project was designed with the necessity for a reliable road connection between the Indus Highway and Bannu City in mind.

According to the officials, the government has not yet completed a feasibility analysis for the road project, but once it has, a design for the road would be created to clear the way for its construction.

The project was initially expected to cost only Rs7.68 billion, but once the PC-1 was developed, the estimated cost rose to Rs9.95 billion, according to the sources. The cost may possibly rise, according to the officials, because the project is still in its early phases. The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has been asked to approve the proposed project.

حکام کے مطابق، حکومت نے ابھی تک سڑک کے منصوبے کے لیے فزیبلٹی کا تجزیہ مکمل نہیں کیا ہے، لیکن ایک بار اس کے مکمل ہونے کے بعد، اس کی تعمیر کے لیے راستہ صاف کرنے کے لیے سڑک کے لیے ایک ڈیزائن تیار کیا جائے گا۔
ذرائع کے مطابق اس منصوبے پر ابتدائی طور پر صرف 7.68 بلین روپے لاگت آنے کی توقع تھی لیکن ایک بار PC-1 تیار ہونے کے بعد تخمینہ لاگت بڑھ کر 9.95 بلین روپے ہو گئی۔ حکام کے مطابق، ممکنہ طور پر لاگت بڑھ سکتی ہے، کیونکہ یہ منصوبہ ابھی ابتدائی مراحل میں ہے۔ پراونشل ڈویلپمنٹ ورکنگ پارٹی (PDWP) سے کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ مجوزہ منصوبے کی منظوری دیں۔
