KP govt inks MoUs worth $8bn at Dubai expo

According to the news sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has signed the Memorandum of understanding which will boost tourism, hydropower, economic zones, and mines and minerals sector investment, besides attracting huge foreign investors and will create jobs leading to an economic revolution in the province.

According to the details, Advisor to Chief Minister on Information & Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif while briefing the media about the 64th cabinet meeting decision said the chief minister issued directives to the concerned departments to provide every possible facility to the foreign investors to attract more business entrepreneurs.

While talking to the media one of the spokespeople said that the cabinet has also approved an Rs 800 million supplementary grant for the uplift of newly-merged districts under ADP and AIP.

The meeting besides the cabinet members was attended by the provincial chief secretary, additional chief secretary, senior member Board of Revenue, and administrative secretaries of various Government departments.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق خیبرپختونخوا نے مفاہمت کی یادداشت پر دستخط کیے ہیں جس سے سیاحت، پن بجلی، اقتصادی زونز اور کانوں اور معدنیات کے شعبے میں سرمایہ کاری کو فروغ ملے گا، اس کے علاوہ بڑے غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاروں کو راغب کیا جائے گا اور صوبے میں معاشی انقلاب برپا کرنے کے لیے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق وزیر اعلیٰ کے مشیر برائے اطلاعات و تعلقات عامہ بیرسٹر محمد علی سیف نے کابینہ کے 64ویں اجلاس کے فیصلے کے بارے میں میڈیا کو بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ نے متعلقہ محکموں کو ہدایات جاری کی ہیں کہ غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاروں کو راغب کرنے کے لیے ہر ممکن سہولت فراہم کی جائے۔
میڈیا سے بات کرتے ہوئے ایک ترجمان نے کہا کہ کابینہ نے اے ڈی پی اور اے آئی پی کے تحت نئے ضم ہونے والے اضلاع کی بہتری کے لیے 800 ملین روپے کی سپلیمنٹری گرانٹ کی بھی منظوری دی ہے۔
اجلاس میں کابینہ کے ارکان کے علاوہ صوبائی چیف سیکرٹری، ایڈیشنل چیف سیکرٹری، سینئر ممبر بورڈ آف ریونیو اور مختلف سرکاری محکموں کے انتظامی سیکرٹریز نے شرکت کی۔
