Bara: A provincial lawmaker has said that the KP government has approved the remodeling of the Bara canal system.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Tuesday approved the remodeling of the Bara canal system in the Khyber district, said a provincial lawmaker.
Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shafiq Afridi told reporters that the Bara canal system was constructed in 1979-80 and its remodeling was inevitable.
He said around 44,972 acres of land would be irrigated from the Bara canal system.

ایک صوبائی قانون ساز نے بتایا کہ خیبر پختونخوا حکومت نے منگل کو ضلع خیبر میں باڑہ کینال سسٹم کی دوبارہ تشکیل کی منظوری دی۔
ممبر صوبائی اسمبلی (ایم پی اے) شفیق آفریدی نے صحافیوں کو بتایا کہ باڑہ کینال سسٹم 1979-80 میں تعمیر کیا گیا تھا اور اس کی دوبارہ تشکیل ناگزیر تھی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ باڑہ کینال سسٹم سے تقریبا 44 44،972 ایکڑ اراضی سیراب ہوگی۔
