KP government to launch “Education Card” for poor students

KP government is going to launch “Education Card” like ‘Health Card’ for poor students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through which they will get education across Pakistan, said Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Higher Education and Information Kamran Bangash.

According to a press release, he said this while addressing the ceremony of the Higher Education Department (HED) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Quality Assurance Awards and HEC Capacity building program here.

Dawood Khan, Secretary Higher Education Department was the guest of honor. Parliamentary Secretary of KP Assembly on Higher Education Ayesha Bano was also present on the occasion.

The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Shaheen Sardar Ali, Rector NAHE, HEC, Nasir Shah Managing Director QAA HEC, Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, Advisor Quality Assurance HED, Imran Ullah Marwat Director Quality Assurance HED, Ihsan Ullah Additional Secretary Universities HED, Vice-chancellors of KP Public Sector Universities and Principals & Faculty Members of Colleges and Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the occasion, Quality Assurance awards were distributed among 07 Vice-chancellors of KP Public Sector Universities and 40 colleges offering BS programs for their great services in the field of Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

HEC Islamabad with the support of NAHE & PERU has recently conducted the first batch training of 300 faculty members of KP colleges so certificates were distributed among successful participants.

وزیراعلیٰ کے معاون خصوصی برائے اعلیٰ تعلیم و اطلاعات کامران بنگش نے کہا کہ کے پی حکومت خیبر پختونخوا کے غریب طلباء کے لیے ’’ ہیلتھ کارڈ ‘‘ کی طرح ’’ تعلیمی کارڈ ‘‘ لانچ کرنے جا رہی ہے۔

ایک پریس ریلیز کے مطابق انہوں نے یہ بات محکمہ اعلیٰ تعلیم (ایچ ای ڈی) خیبرپختونخوا کی کوالٹی اشورینس ایوارڈز اور ایچ ای سی کیپیسٹی بلڈنگ پروگرام کی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہی۔

داؤد خان ، سیکرٹری ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ اس موقع پر خیبر پختونخوا اسمبلی کی ہائر ایجوکیشن کی پارلیمانی سیکرٹری عائشہ بانو بھی موجود تھیں۔

تقریب میں ڈاکٹر شاہین سردار علی ، ریکٹر HEC ، ناصر شاہ منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر QAA HEC ، ڈاکٹر شفیق الرحمن ، مشیر کوالٹی اشورینس HED ، عمران اللہ مروت ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی اشورینس HED ، احسان اللہ ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری یونیورسٹیز HED ، وائس چانسلرز بھی موجود تھے۔ کے پی کے پبلک سیکٹر یونیورسٹیوں اور پرنسپلز اور خیبر پختونخوا کے کالجوں اور یونیورسٹیوں کے فیکلٹی ممبران۔

اس موقع پر کے پی پبلک سیکٹر یونیورسٹیوں کے 07 وائس چانسلرز اور اعلیٰ تعلیم میں کوالٹی اشورینس کے شعبے میں بی ایس پروگرام پیش کرنے والے 40 کالجوں میں کوالٹی اشورینس ایوارڈ تقسیم کیے گئے۔

ایچ ای سی اسلام آباد نے NAHE اور PERU کے تعاون سے حال ہی میں کے پی کالجز کے 300 فیکلٹی ممبروں کی پہلی بیچ ٹریننگ کی ہے لہذا کامیاب شرکاء میں سرٹیفکیٹ تقسیم کیے گئے۔
