KP cabinet approves housing scheme to allot plots to deserving people

The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan was given a detailed briefing on a working plan under which three and a half marla plots would be allotted to less privileged people having monthly income less than Rs 50,000 per month with a return plan of ten years.

Special Assistant to CM Kamran Bagash told a media briefing that the federal government would give a subsidy of Rs 300,000 on each plot. The cabinet while giving approval of the project, directed housing, revenue, and local government departments to start execution plan on 187 Kanals estate land initially in Charsadda district.

He said a high-level cabinet committee was constituted during the meeting to identify estate land for housing schemes in other districts of the province. Bangash said that the government has directed 29 departments to submit their rules and regulations for approval before the provincial cabinet within one month.

Provincial Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Health Secretary Imtiaz Hussain Shah, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Amjad Ali Khan, Hospital Director Hayatabad Medical Complex Dr. Shehzad Akbar, and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

Briefing the meeting about the progress of the project, it was informed that 90 percent of the construction work of the project had been completed and the first phase of the project would be completed by June 2022.

While the second phase would be completed by December 2022, the third phase of the project would be completed by June 2023.

وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان کی زیر صدارت کابینہ کے اجلاس میں ایک ورکنگ پلان کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی جس کے تحت ساڑھے تین مرلہ کے پلاٹ کم مراعات یافتہ افراد کو الاٹ کیے جائیں گے جن کی ماہانہ آمدنی 50 ہزار روپے ماہانہ سے کم ہے اور دس سال کے ریٹرن پلان کے ساتھ۔ ہے-

وزیراعلیٰ کے معاون خصوصی کامران باگاش نے میڈیا بریفنگ میں بتایا کہ وفاقی حکومت ہر پلاٹ پر تین لاکھ روپے کی سبسڈی دے گی۔ کابینہ نے منصوبے کی منظوری دیتے ہوئے ہاؤسنگ ، ریونیو اور لوکل گورنمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹس کو ہدایت کی کہ ضلع چارسدہ میں ابتدائی طور پر 187 کنال اسٹیٹ اراضی پر عملدرآمد کا منصوبہ شروع کیا جائے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے کے دیگر اضلاع میں ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کے لیے اسٹیٹ اراضی کی نشاندہی کے لیے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی کابینہ کمیٹی تشکیل دی گئی۔ بنگش نے کہا کہ حکومت نے 29 محکموں کو ہدایت دی ہے کہ وہ اپنے قواعد و ضوابط ایک ماہ کے اندر صوبائی کابینہ کے سامنے منظوری کے لیے پیش کریں۔

صوبائی وزیر صحت تیمور سلیم جھگڑا ، سیکرٹری صحت امتیاز حسین شاہ ، وزیراعلیٰ کے پرنسپل سیکرٹری امجد علی خان ، ہسپتال کے ڈائریکٹر حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس ڈاکٹر شہزاد اکبر اور دیگر متعلقہ حکام نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

اجلاس کو منصوبے کی پیش رفت کے بارے میں بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا گیا کہ منصوبے کا 90 فیصد تعمیراتی کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے اور اس منصوبے کا پہلا مرحلہ جون 2022 تک مکمل ہو جائے گا۔

جبکہ دوسرا مرحلہ دسمبر 2022 تک مکمل ہو جائے گا ، تیسرا مرحلہ جون 2023 تک مکمل ہو جائے گا۔
