KDA’s Rs.9,204 billion budget to include infrastructure and housing schemes

The Sindh Government has also announced a 15% increase in salaries and a 5% increase in pensions which have been included in the expenditure for the next financial year. Renovation of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Park, construction of a food street, and recreational places along the Clifton beach will also receive funding. Other projects include the elimination of encroachments, procurement of heavy machinery, rehabilitation of a pipe factory and an asphalt plant, and reconstruction of flats in Surjani Town through the Public Housing Scheme. Added to that the maintenance of roads in all KDA Schemes and costs for the implementation of a computerized financial accounting system has also been approved as part of the budget.

The Sindh government says that it will fully support the KDA and help it pay additional expenses in terms of salaries and pensions.

کراچی: کے ڈی اے نے اگلے مالی سال کے لیے 9,204 بلین روپے کے بجٹ کی منظوری دے دی ہے، جس میں متعدد انفراسٹرکچر اور ہاؤسنگ اسکیموں کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کے لیے تیار کیا گیا ہے۔
حکومت سندھ نے تنخواہوں میں 15 فیصد اور پنشن میں 5 فیصد اضافے کا اعلان بھی کیا ہے جو کہ آئندہ مالی سال کے اخراجات میں شامل ہیں۔ بے نظیر بھٹو شہید پارک کی تزئین و آرائش، فوڈ سٹریٹ کی تعمیر اور کلفٹن ساحل سمندر پر تفریحی مقامات کے لیے بھی فنڈنگ حاصل کی جائے گی۔ دیگر منصوبوں میں تجاوزات کا خاتمہ، بھاری مشینری کی خریداری، پائپ فیکٹری اور اسفالٹ پلانٹ کی بحالی اور پبلک ہاؤسنگ سکیم کے ذریعے سرجانی ٹاؤن میں فلیٹس کی تعمیر نو شامل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ کے ڈی اے کی تمام اسکیموں میں سڑکوں کی دیکھ بھال اور کمپیوٹرائزڈ فنانشل اکاؤنٹنگ سسٹم کے نفاذ کے اخراجات کو بھی بجٹ کے حصے کے طور پر منظور کیا گیا ہے۔
سندھ حکومت کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ کے ڈی اے کی مکمل مدد کرے گی اور تنخواہوں اور پنشن کی مد میں اضافی اخراجات کی ادائیگی میں مدد کرے گی۔
