Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib housing developments are announced by LDA

To facilitate the planning and implementation process, the authority has been granted a permit to set up field offices in the aforementioned districts.

According to a reliable government source, the idea was justified by the need for effective housing planning to reduce the strain of an expanding population, deliver high-quality services, and produce income for the long-term growth of LDA.

In 2013, the Punjabi government expanded the LDA's legal authority. The governing council emphasised a number of duties, including master planning, changing land uses, and approving private societies.

According to LDA, various projects in the districts of Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib have been completed. Consequently, the Lahore Division Master Plan 2050's adoption is a positive step in the direction of sustainable infrastructure development for the benefit of the general people.
