Karachi administrator opens water sports project at Hawkesbay

Murtaza Wahab inaugurated an “Arabian Sea Water Sports Project” at Hawkesbay by saying that water sports facilities had been provided to the people at the popular resort under a public-private partnership.

“Citizens come to Hawkesbay with their families and enjoy these facilities. The present federal government’s ministers are happy to complement each other,” he said while speaking to media after opening the project.

According to the news sources, Metropolitan Commissioner Syed Afzal Zaidi, Pakistan Peoples Party leader Shakeel Chaudhry, and other officials were also present on the occasion. The administrator said the journey of the development of the city would continue and the construction of a road from Machhli Chowk to the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant was underway.

Besides the construction of parks, he said, playgrounds and roads, efforts were also being made to provide modern sports facilities to the people. He said more modern facilities would be provided at Hawkesbay, and more new projects would be launched.

مرتضیٰ وہاب نے ہاکس بے میں "عربیئن سی واٹر اسپورٹس پروجیکٹ" کا افتتاح کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پبلک پرائیویٹ پارٹنرشپ کے تحت مقبول ریزورٹ میں لوگوں کو واٹر اسپورٹس کی سہولیات فراہم کی گئی ہیں۔
"شہری اپنے اہل خانہ کے ساتھ ہاکس بے پر آتے ہیں اور ان سہولیات سے لطف اندوز ہوتے ہیں۔ موجودہ وفاقی حکومت کے وزراء ایک دوسرے کی تکمیل پر خوش ہیں،" انہوں نے منصوبے کا افتتاح کرنے کے بعد میڈیا سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اس موقع پر میٹروپولیٹن کمشنر سید افضل زیدی، پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کے رہنما شکیل چوہدری اور دیگر حکام بھی موجود تھے۔ ایڈمنسٹریٹر نے کہا کہ شہر کی ترقی کا سفر جاری رہے گا اور مچلی چوک سے کراچی نیوکلیئر پاور پلانٹ تک سڑک کی تعمیر کا کام جاری ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پارکس کی تعمیر کے ساتھ ساتھ کھیل کے میدانوں اور سڑکوں کے ساتھ ساتھ لوگوں کو کھیلوں کی جدید سہولیات فراہم کرنے کی بھی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاکس بے پر مزید جدید سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی اور مزید نئے منصوبے شروع کیے جائیں گے۔
