Jinnah Avenue and Srinagar Highway to be expanded by Capital Development Authority

The employment of experts to create a feasibility study and design for the extension of the Srinagar Highway from the 7th Avenue Interchange to Serena Chowk was among the development projects agreed during the meeting. The project, which will cost Rs.8.5 million and take two months to complete, will have bike lanes on either side of the road and an underpass to relieve traffic congestion.

The National Bus Terminal will be erected in sector I-11, and Rs.10 million has been allowed for the consultation service for feasibility and engineering design.

The PC-I has been given permission to spend Rs.52 million to install security gates throughout the Red Zone.

سرینگر ہائی وے کی 7ویں ایونیو انٹرچینج سے سرینا چوک تک توسیع کے لیے فزیبلٹی اسٹڈی اور ڈیزائن تیار کرنے کے لیے ماہرین کی ملازمت میٹنگ کے دوران طے پانے والے ترقیاتی منصوبوں میں شامل تھی۔ اس منصوبے پر، جس پر 8.5 ملین روپے لاگت آئے گی اور اسے مکمل ہونے میں دو ماہ لگیں گے، سڑک کے دونوں طرف بائیک لین اور ٹریفک کی بھیڑ کو دور کرنے کے لیے ایک انڈر پاس ہوگا۔
اس کے علاوہ درج ذیل منصوبوں کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔
قومی بس ٹرمینل سیکٹر I-11 میں تعمیر کیا جائے گا، اور فزیبلٹی اور انجینئرنگ ڈیزائن کے لیے مشاورتی سروس کے لیے 10 ملین روپے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔
PC-1 کو پورے ریڈ زون میں سیکیورٹی گیٹس لگانے کے لیے 52 ملین روپے خرچ کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔
