Islamabad to have Pakistan’s largest Ferris wheel soon

According to the news sources, Pakistan’s largest Ferris wheel with a height of about 180 feet has been planned for installation at Lake View Park. The Phase-II of the park delayed for over a decade is now being developed.

The Chairman of Capital Development Authority has directed Environment Wing to bring PC-I of the project for approval at the earliest as possible. Additionally, Pakistan Movement Park is being developed along Islamabad Highway around the flag in sector H-8.

The park along with landscape features will also have enormous walls showing 2-D images of the different pictorials of the largest migration of history. Work is going on at a speedy pace and the park will be inaugurated on 23 March 2022. Similarly, a new park has been planned near Bhara Kahu in the National Park area.

According to the news sources, High-class features are added in this park such as an exclusive section for ladies and children. Some of the other salient features include a walking track, kids playing gadgets, exercise units, a water sports area, a mini-golf course, and a forest area. The park will be constructed on the land retrieved from the encroachers. Chairman Capital Development Authority has been directed to prepare PC-I of all these projects at the earliest and place it in the upcoming CDADWP for consideration.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق پاکستان کا سب سے بڑا فیرس وہیل جس کی اونچائی تقریباً 180 فٹ ہے کو لیک ویو پارک میں نصب کرنے کا منصوبہ بنایا گیا ہے۔ ایک دہائی سے زیادہ تاخیر کا شکار پارک کا فیز 2 اب تیار کیا جا رہا ہے۔
کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین نے انوائرنمنٹ ونگ کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ جلد از جلد اس منصوبے کا (پی سی-1) منظوری ��ے لیے لائے۔ مزید برآں، اسلام آباد ہائی وے کے ساتھ سیکٹر (ایچ-8) میں پرچم کے ارد گرد پاکستان موومنٹ پارک تیار کیا جا رہا ہے۔
پارک میں زمین کی تزئین کی خصوصیات کے ساتھ بہت بڑی دیواریں بھی ہوں گی جو تاریخ کی سب سے بڑی ہجرت کی مختلف تصویروں کی(2-ڈی) تصاویر دکھاتی ہیں۔ کام تیز رفتاری سے جاری ہے اور پارک کا افتتاح 23 مارچ 2022 کو کیا جائے گا۔ اسی طرح نیشنل پارک کے علاقے میں بہارہ کہو کے قریب ایک نئے پارک کی منصوبہ بندی کی گئی ہے۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اس پارک میں خواتین اور بچوں کے لیے خصوصی سیکشن جیسے اعلیٰ درجے کی خصوصیات شامل کی گئی ہیں۔ کچھ دیگر نمایاں خصوصیات میں واکنگ ٹریک، بچوں کے گیجٹ کھیلنے، ورزش کے یونٹ، واٹر اسپورٹس ایریا، منی گالف کورس اور جنگل کا علاقہ شامل ہیں۔ یہ پارک تجاوزات سے واگزار کرائی گئی زمین پر تعمیر کیا جائے گا۔ چیئرمین کیپٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ ان تمام پراجیکٹس کا (پی سی-1) جلد از جلد تیار کریں اور اسے آئندہ سی ڈی اے ڈی ڈبلیو پی میں زیر غور لایا جائے۔
