Islamabad: CDA directed to operationalize the Islamabad Metro Bus service by April 16, and ordered an inquiry into the delay of the project, reported a news source.
One of the first projects the new PM will focus on will be the early launch of the Metro Bus service between Peshawar Mor and Islamabad International Airport.
These swift measures were deemed necessary because the project had been delayed and pending for four years. The NHA launched the work on the 25.6km long track which stretches from the Peshawar Morr to Islamabad International Airport, which is worth around Rs.16 billion. Its civil work was completed last year, whereas the project was supposed to be completed in August 2018.
