Iqra University Setting up Medical and Nursing School in Bahria Town Karachi

Karachi: According to the news sources, Iqra University is all set to establish a medical and nursing school in Bahria Town Karachi after an agreement reached between the two entities recently.
As per the agreement, the university campus will open its doors in 2020. The sources have revealed that the faculty engaged at the university will be of foreign origins and experienced in teaching in international universities.
A purpose-built state-of-the-art campus will offer graduate and postgraduate degrees in various cutting-edge programs in health sciences, information technology, media sciences, fashion design, and business administration.
The agreement was signed by the two entities during the MoU signing ceremony attended by Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Wasim Qazi. Speaking at the event, Malik Riaz said, “Bahria Town Karachi campus would become the hallmark in the education sector of Pakistan and would play a significant role in achieving excellence in education and research, global recognition, and international standards by meeting local needs.”
The campus has been designed by Nayyar Ali Dada and is almost close to completion. The salient features of the campus include world class infrastructure, high-end technology, international faculty, ideal collegial environment, and R&D facilities.
