Inflation in construction industry expected amid a big change by Punjab Government

According to the details, the Punjab government has prepared to increase the prices in the construction industry. Recommendations have been made to transfer the authority of sand contracts from the Mines Department to the district administration. The recommendation was made to the DC Price Control Committee.

According to the summary, sand will be included in the list of essential commodities under the Punjab Essential Article Control Act, 1973. The Deputy Commissioners will fix the sand prices under the Price Control Committee rules. The Chief Minister has constituted a committee comprising the Ministers of Mines, Industries, and Labor.

The department says that the contractor mafia only pays the contract fees of the mines department for sand extraction. Legislation is needed to address the issue of sand dredging, water use, and transport charges.

تفصیلات کے مطابق حکومت پنجاب نے تعمیراتی انڈسٹری میں مزید مہنگائی کرنے کو تیار ی کر لی۔ریت کے ٹھیکوں کا اختیار محکمہ مائنز سے ضلعی انتظامیہ کو منتقل کرنےکی سفارشات تیار کر لی گئیں،ریت نکالنے کیلئے ٹھیکے، فی میٹرک ٹن ریٹ اور ٹرانسپورٹ کے اخراجات ڈی سی پرائس کنٹرول کمیٹی کے سپرد کرنے کی سفارش تیار کی گئی۔

سمری کے مطابق ریت کو " پنجاب اسینشیئل آرٹیکل کنٹرول ایکٹ 1973" کے تحت ضروری اجناس کی لسٹ میں شامل کیاجائے گا۔ ڈپٹی کمشنرز پرائس کنٹرول کمیٹی قوانین کے تحت ریت کے نرخوں کا تعین کرینگے۔وزیراعلی نے محکمہ مائنز، انڈسٹریز اور لیبر کے وزراء پر محیط کمیٹی تشکیل دے رکھی ہے۔ محکمہ کا کہناہے کہ ریت نکالنے کیلئے ٹھیکیدار مافیا صرف محکمہ مائنزکے ٹھیکوں کے فیس ادا کرتا ہے۔ ریت نکالنے کیلئے دریا میں بنائے جانے والے راستے، پانی کا استعمال اور ٹرانسپورٹ چارجز کے مسائل پر قابو پانے کیلئے قانون سازی ضروری ہے۔
