LAHORE - Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice-Chairman S.M Imran said that new industrial areas were being added to the Master Plan of Lahore to cater to the future needs of the industrial sector.
He was speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), where LCCI President Mian Tariq Misbah presented the address of welcome and highlighted the issues being faced by the business community.
The LDA Vice-Chairman said that a Help Desk of LDA would be established at Lahore Chamber soon, also added that it would play a pivotal role in resolving the issues of the business community as soon as possible.
He said that any decision regarding the industrial units which fell in the area of the Ravi Riverfront development project would be taken in full consultation with the stakeholders.
“The business community will be fully facilitated in this master plan,” he added. He further stated that the issue of the relatively high, water tariff for the industrial sector in Lahore as compared to other cities in Punjab was also taken care of.
He said that the issue of the Holiday Park Industrial Estate would be resolved soon.
Notices were being delivered to the industrial units under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act.

وہ لاہور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (ایل سی سی آئی) میں خطاب کررہے تھے ، جہاں ایل سی سی آئی کے صدر میاں طارق مصباح نے خیرمقدم کا خطاب پیش کیا ، اور تاجر برادری کو درپیش مسائل پر روشنی ڈالی۔
ایل ڈی اے کے وائس چیئرمین نے کہا کہ ایل ڈی اے کا ہیلپ ڈیسک جلد ہی لاہور چیمبر میں قائم کیا جائے گا ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ تاجر برادری کے مسائل کو جلد از جلد حل کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ راوی ریفرنٹ ڈویلپمنٹ پروجیکٹ کے علاقے میں آنے والی صنعتی اکائیوں کے بارے میں کوئی بھی فیصلہ اسٹیک ہولڈرز کے ساتھ مکمل مشاورت سے لیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ، "اس معاملے کے منصوبے میں تاجر برادری کو مکمل طور پر سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی۔" انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پنجاب کے دیگر شہروں کے مقابلے میں لاہور میں صنعتی شعبے کے لئے نسبتا زیادہ پانی کے نرخوں کے معاملے پر بھی توجہ دی گئی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہالیڈے پارک انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ کا معاملہ جلد حل کرلیا جائے گا۔
صنعتی اکائیوں کو لینڈ ایکوزیشن ایکٹ کے سیکشن 4 کے تحت نوٹسز دیئے جارہے تھے۔
