In the City, Road Maintenance Work is in Progress: Administrator Karachi

Murtaza Wahab stated that people living in the neighbourhood will benefit from Docks Road's restoration and maintenance. He declared while inspecting the Docks Road maintenance and repair work near ICI Bridge that all amenities will be supplied to the inhabitants.

Chief Engineer, Director General Works Azhar Ali Shah, and other personnel attended the event.

According to the administrator, a lot of traffic moves down Docks Road every day, and because of its bad state, there is often traffic jam and a chance of accidents late at night.

On this occasion, the concerned officials stated that Docks Road's surface had been smoothed with the use of a roller after the potholes caused by the rain were filled.

The Administrator advised that the work be finished as quickly as possible and that other local roads must be repaired in order to provide the residents with convenient transportation.

مرتضیٰ وہاب نے کہا کہ ڈاکس روڈ کی بحالی اور دیکھ بھال سے محلے میں رہنے والے لوگ مستفید ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے آئی سی آئی پل کے قریب ڈاکس روڈ کی دیکھ بھال اور مرمت کے کام کا معائنہ کرتے ہوئے اعلان کیا کہ مکینوں کو تمام سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔
تقریب میں چیف انجینئر، ڈائریکٹر جنرل ورکس اظہر علی شاہ اور دیگر اہلکاروں نے شرکت کی۔
ایڈمنسٹریٹر کے مطابق ڈاکس روڈ پر روزانہ بہت زیادہ ٹریفک گزرتی ہے اور اس کی خراب حالت کی وجہ سے اکثر ٹریفک جام رہتا ہے اور رات گئے حادثات کا خدشہ رہتا ہے۔
اس موقع پر متعلقہ حکام نے بتایا کہ بارش کی وجہ سے پڑنے والے گڑھے بھرنے کے بعد ڈاکس روڈ کی سطح کو رولر کے استعمال سے ہموار کیا گیا ہے۔
ایڈمنسٹریٹر نے مشورہ دیا کہ کام کو جلد از جلد مکمل کیا جائے اور رہائشیوں کو آسان آمدورفت فراہم کرنے کے لیے دیگر مقامی سڑکوں کی مرمت کی جانی چاہیے۔
